School Days
We have not had an update on the Denn boys on the web site recently, so since my campaign time has been temporarily interrupted by our trusty friends at AIG, I thought I would do that today.
Adam and Zach started pre-school again in the last few days. Under the delicate social compact with my wife that allows me to write this blog, I am not permitted to say what school they attend (she is, of course, right about this). New for school this year: Wiggles backpacks. Unfortunately, I ordered them through the mail from Wiggles Headquarters in Australia, and whether it is because the picture was deceptive or my grasp of the metric system isn’t what it used to be, the backpacks are about half of their actual height. (It actually raises the question of why kids old enough to fit the backpacks would still be watching The Wiggles, but I only have so much space on this blog.)
After just one day of school, the music teacher at Zach’s new school is already impressed with his enthusiastic use of the dozen different percussion instruments in the music room. I call him the Michelangelo of the Downbeat. Actually, I don’t call him that, but I might start. And Adam came home from school last week and asked me to identify the primary colors for him. I knew there would come a day when I would no longer be able to help them with their homework, but I thought they would be older than three when it happened.
